Villa De Leyva
Once again the Colombian people showed us how to be incredible hosts. During Poultry Days, Cara found out about an opportunity to stay in a ranch house in Villa De Leyva from Cata, a frisbee friend with Texas ATM roots. Her parents, Jaime and Hilda, joined us for three nights and two days at their second home in the mountains outside of Bogota. VdL is a quiet colonial city surrounded by mountains and beautiful countryside. It has one of the largest plazas in South America and all of the buildings downtown are beautiful white stucco.
While in VdL we walked to the plaza at night, ate incredible homemade food, went horse back riding!, and met some new frisbee friends from Tunja.
